Partner withThe American Red Cross and local fire departments to install smoke detectors in targeted neighborhoods that have been identified as high risk for fires. All smoke detectors, tools and assistance from fire departments will be provided. This is part two of a two-part project. Neighborhoods were canvassed on Tuesday, August 30th with information about the upcoming free smoke detector installations. The American Red Cross Cabarrus County Chapter assists the local community in many ways! Here are a few of the things that they do: provide emergency disaster relief for individuals & community wide needs, serve military families with emergency and other services,offers CPR classes, and performs blood collection services.
