Come join SCA and the Riverside Park Conservancy for a morning of Hurricane Sandy recovery clean up at NYC's iconic Riverside Park in Manhattan. Volunteers will help remove debris and trash that was left after the storm along the banks of the Hudson River. Please meet SCA staff at the 68th Street entrance at 9:45am on Tuesday June 4th.
Be sure to wear long pants and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting dirty or wet. We will not be going into the water for this clean up but will move along the coastline of the river starting at Pier 1 at 70th st and moving north. Gloves will be provided.
When: Tuesday June 4th 9:45am-12:30pm
Where: Riverside Park. Volunteers should meet at the West 68th Street entrance to Riverside Park in Manhattan at Riverside Blvd and W 68th Street.
What to Bring: Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Gloves, water, sunscreen and snacks will be provided.

Directions from American Eagle Outfitter E37th st offices: Take the #7 train towards Times Square-42nd St from the 5th Ave station. At Times Square-42nd St transfer to the #2 train toward Wakefield. Exit at the 72nd st stop. Head south on Amsterdam and take a right onto 70th st. Walk .4 miles to Riverside Blvd and head left to the 68th st entrance to Riverside Park. SCA staff will meet you at the entrance.
