Event Details

The American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) exists to enhance the performance of healthcare architecture and to provide recognition for an advanced level of experience and competence.  Join certificate holders, Doug Childs, AIA, FACHA and Vince Avallone, AIA, ACHA for a presentation and information on becoming a certified healthcare architect and ACHA’s new candidate program.  The candidate program has been designed to offer a structured process for mentoring professionals who have a keen interest in healthcare planning and design.  To date, a little less than 500 licensed architects have achieved ACHA certification through the rigorous process of demonstrated work history, references, a portfolio submittal, intensive testing, and independent review.  Doug and Vince will provide you a better understanding of the vision, mission and value of ACHA and what to expect from the exam and how to prepare for it.  Are you ready?
