Event Details

AMEC (Artsplosions Multicultural Enrichment Camp) is a plethora of programs written for the arts and entrepreneurship. AMEC reaches out to communities and community organizations in providing structured curriculum in the form of camps accross the country.

This summer, AMEC is partnering with Deloris Madison Productions in a 7 week camp structured to teach all aspects of play writing, production, and acting. Participants get first hand instruction from an experienced play writer in the Houston area.

The camp will be from 9am to 1pm, with lunch sponsored by the free lunch program for school-aged participants. Papa John's Pizza is also sponsoring lunches for our adult participants. Groups will be segmented into age brackets and lessons will be accomodating to the age group. Our curriculum writer is a previous educator with vast experience in curriculum and instruction. Participants are sure to get the bang for their buck!!

We look forward to your participation and we welcome insights on all of our camps. For more information on how to have your own AMEC camp, contact us at fqcgsolutions@gmail.com.

A.M.E.C. (Artsplosions Multicultural Enrichment Camps)

Thank you for choosing AMEC, the best diversified mobile program in Texas. Here are some of the highlights of our programs. We provide students with academic, and extracurricular activities in a residential, site -based, and online community committed to diversity in its student body, faculty and staff-that help them achieve at the highest scholarly levels and prepare them for lives of service in many fields of human endeavor.   We have sponsored essay contests and entrepreneur programs for children, youth, and adults.

We stem form a distinctive beginning and are growing into a community of learning that continues to evolve, providing abundant opportunities to talented students from around the world.

Since inception, we have developed educational activities and outreach programs providing thousands of young people, including at-risk youth, with important skills for the future by expanding their creativity and developing problem-solving, reasoning and communication abilities. Our instructors are experienced, highly accomplished, professional artists who have well-honed teaching skills.  More importantly, all of our student outreach offerings align with standard TEKS requirements.

Participants will engage in lessons taught by professional artists and recognized entrepreneurs in their local city and state.  Instruction design is determined by each instructor; however each instructor must honor the standards of the Texas Essentials of Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  All instruction design is reviewed before the camp by a certified teacher in the state of Texas and is checked for alignment of TEKS.  A final production of the showing of lessons learned will be on the last day of the camp. The  length of the camp is determined by the market
