Texas A&M University-Commerce Distinguished Alumni Symposium Presents
"What Is the Purpose of an Education?"
Leaders from public and private schools as well as business leaders have agreed to be facilitators and panelists in what guarantees to be an informative and educational program. They will spend the day, sharing their own views of education with superintendents, principals, university faculty, students and the public. As these leaders discuss the purpose of an education, attendees will be given the opportunity to ponder these ideas and share their own views.
Join us Monday, March 18, 2013 for the second of a series of symposia sponsored by A&M-Commerce Distinguished Alumni Chapter. This event is hosted for your professional development, continuing education and offers 4 CEU credits*.
*In order to receive credit, individuals must check in by 9:15 a.m. and stay through the entire program (concludes at 2:30 p.m.). No partial credit will be given. Completion certificates will be handed out at the end of the program.
Single Educator: $50 - Includes all sessions/discussions, 4 CEU credits and lunch.
General Public with Luncheon: $20 - Includes all sessions/discussions and lunch.
General Public without Luncheon: FREE - The General Public is invited to sit-in on and participate in the sessions/discussions. This is the perfect opportunity for current students! General public must register in order to guarantee enough seating.

2:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Closing Remarks
**Light Breakfast available to all participants. Lunch included with $20 & $50 registration.
