You are invited to join the University of Phoenix Staff & Alumni as they give back to the community at the Houston Food Bank Saturday, August 3 from 8am -12pm. All volunteers will receive a UOPX t-shirts upon arrival and nt.
**Employees of Apollo Group are eligible to use up to 8 hours per half year and this event is eligible for Community hours. Please receive approval and arrange your schedule with your manager before registering for the event.
Each volunteer must register online prior to the August 3rd on both weblinks below to complete registration.
1) Once registered, you will receive an email to activate your account and will also receive a Volunteer Pass—print this out and bring it with you to your shift.
2) All minor volunteers, age 17 and younger, must have parents complete the attached waiver and bring to their volunteer shift.
3) Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers must be at least 8 years of age.
Dress Code: Tennis shoes, jeans and t-shirt. No shorts or open-toed shoes are allowed for safety reasons.
Please do NOT bring personal items. Carpooling is encouraged!
