ALMS Presents Androcles and the Lion

The drama, band, art, and leadership departments have collaborated on what is sure to be a magical singing, dancing, and acting extravaganza- the musical Androcles and the Lion. Set in the Macedonian desert and Caesar’s Palace in Rome, this Roman folktale teaches a valuable lesson about friendship and following your dreams. The play is led by Umar P. as Androcles, Diana R. as Hermione, Matthew R. as the Lion, and Dylan D. as Caesar. 18 more students round out the cast and chorus with 8 instrumental performers in the pit and 28 crew members. The performances are April 29, May 1, and May 8, and curtain time is 7:00. Tickets are $5.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door.
