Mercury Opera produces operatic events in unusual spaces with standing room only audiences. Blowing away all the pretentious cobwebs of the artform, MO's founder, Darcia Parada translates classic pieces into fast paced, accessible and intimate samplings of the best that opera has to offer. Appealing to a much wider audience, MO's creates an experience that engages its audience, up close, personal, it's opera in your face.
