Are you interested in learning how to build a computer, complete environmental science labs, and go on a great reading adventure?    

Then this FIVE day camp is for you!


Before submitting this application, you must upload a YouTube video answering the following question:

Describe your employable skills and tell us why you should be selected to participate in the STEM Camp.


Who:  

Middle and High School Students in the Midlands.  A total of 50 students will be selected to participate


What:  

Explore environmental science with interactive instruction and virtual labs.  Read a great book and learn how to build a desktop computer.  Hear from STEM leaders and engage in virtual trips and videoconferencing.     


When:  

April 2, 2012 - April 6, 2012, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Cost:  

The Camp is FREE!  The U. S. Department of Energy and Natural has awarded Allen University a grant which pays for the STEM camp and provides an incentive for students who successfully complete the camp.  This year we are pleased to announce that all students will be able to take home the computers that they build in class.
