In this session, Kameshwara Penumarthy will present an in-depth discussion on tracking project progress using MS project 2010. Topics cover include set and maintain baseline, update actual progress, compare progress against a baseline, resolve potential schedule problems, and display critical path information. The information presented is based on section 4 of the Microsoft Project 70-178 Exam Study Guide by The Versatile Company for MPUG.
During this event, students will learn how to set up baseline for selected tasks vs the entire project, multiple baselines, updating project progress, and analyze potential scheduling problem.
Kamesh Penumarthy is a Principal consultant at NTT DATA, currently working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master at one of the NY State Agencies. He is a member of PMI and PMI-UNY Chapter and has obtained his PMP certification in 2011. He hold an MBA in finance from University at Albany.
