Alamo Kiwanis San Antonio 2011 WESTERN ART SHOW

Alamo Kiwanis Club, San Antonio, TX, proudly sponsors several fund raiser events each year in its endeavor to support childrens' charities in the San Antonio community. Over the years, AKC has donated approximately $5 million to various charities. This is possible due to tremendous community support and addtendance at the AKC events. The 2011 AKC Western Art Show presented by thr Gottsacker family, is a gala event, occuring every year at the end of January just prior to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Enjoy "The Oh So Good Band" and other live entertainment, great food provided by Don Strange of Texas, and an incredible new venue, The Pearl Studio and Full Goods Breezeway.
The artists featured each year generously display and sell their art, with a portion of each sale dontated directly to the AKC charity fund. The art works include canvas oils, water colors, etchings, carvings, bronze sculptures, and more with vaired themes and scenes. The art is available for sale to the public from 9-5 on Saturday, January 29, 2011! Hope to see you there!

The Alamo Kiwanis Club reflects the purpose of Kiwanis International:
To help children.
The volunteer-run non-profit organization has approximately 100 community members and meets weekly. The Alamo Kiwanis Club produces two major fundraisers each year to benefit local children's charities: The Western Heritage Art Show and Fiesta Noche del Rio. More than $2.75 million has been raised from these two annual events to date!
