Masako Watanabe’s lecture will discuss select works in the DIA collection, especially those reflecting sensitivity to nature, and will focus on the screen of the Tale of Genji, which illustrates Japan's favorite classical tale.
The lecture begins at 2 p.m. and will be held in the Marvin and Betty Danto Lecture Hall at the DIA. The lecture is free with museum admission (no reservation required). Visit www.dia.org/aiaf for more information.
