AIA Minneapolis Luncheon in Greater Minnesota: April 18, 2013
Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM (CDT)
On April 18th AIA Minneapolis takes the Free Lunch program on the road to SAGE Electrochromics Inc. in Faribault.
SAGE is a specialized window glass manufacturer that develops electronically tintable "smart" glass, for use in building windows and skylights, that can be switched from clear to darkly tinted at the click of a button, or programmed to respond to changing sunlight and heat conditions. The product offers potential energy savings by lowering energy demands and providing more natural lighting opportunity.
This is a great time to hear from our members in greater Minnesota and share concerns and ideas. Plan to stay following the lunch and discussion for a presentation and guided tour of the SAGE manufacturing facility.
10:00 - 11:30 AIA Minneapolis monthly board meeting
11:45 - 1:00 Lunch/informal discussions among greater Minnesota members
1:00 - 1:30 Group discussion of issues relevant to greater Minnesota
1:45 - 3:00 SAGE presentation and guided tour of Sage facility
3:00 - 3:30 Closing remarks
We invite you to join us for all or any of the events. As with our regular lunch program, all of the day's events are free to members.
1.0 continuing education credit will be offered as part of attendance at this event.
