UCLA Center for Policy Research on Aging

The mission of the UCLA Center for Policy Research on Aging is to provide policy analysis and examine demographic changes as they affect the aging of the United States and the world. The Center endeavors to consult with policy makers, provide expert advice and actively engage in agenda-setting and political issues that affect older persons. The well-established relationships between the Center and policy makers in Washington, D.C., and Sacramento enable a voice in contemporary debates and actions affecting public programs and benefits for older persons. The Center has a particular interest in the demographic and population concerns of Los Angeles, Southern California and California at large, and the region’s relationship with the Pacific Basin, including Asia and Latin America.
