The Business Impacts and Profits

From a business perspective, the main goal of an Agile transformation is to increase the amount of business value that results from an organization's software development investment. Focusing on the software development phase will certainly provide results, but the full business value of Agile comes from applying its principles to the full pipeline from business idea to production deployment. There are basically three ways to provide more business value to this pipeline: reducing the end-to-end cycle time, moving from having many projects in progress to getting projects finished faster, and releasing software more frequently with a focus on Minimum Viable Increments. At the event we will be discussing process discipline and infrastructure feedback loops to help manage and understand the costs associated with beginning an Agile Project and steering the funding and planning as you proceed.
