Calling all Agile/Scrum practitioners in the Birmingham and surrounding areas and everyone wishing to learn more about this powerful tool.
Agile Birmingham is a user group devoted to raising awareness and acceptance of agile practices. We believe in being good stewards of our company’s capital investments and are committed to delivering maximum business value for every project dollar spent.

Program Presenter: Ken Sawyer
Ken Sawyer is a native of Mobile and moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University where his undergraduate major was Human Relations. He earned a Master of Education from the University of Montevallo and a Master of Engineering from the IEM program at UAB.
Ken’s background includes roles as a Broadcast Engineer, Avionics Technician, Software Developer, Project Manager, ScrumMaster and Information Systems Security Professional. He has managed numerous projects in facilities construction including broadcast stations and towers, hardware and systems installations and software development.
Ken is an active evangelist for Agile practices, an Agile Birmingham organizer and ScrumMaster and a frequent contributor at user group meetings. He enjoys working with stakeholders and users as well as technical professionals and particularly enjoys building highly functional teams.
