The Product Department is one year old at UnionWare and we wanted to be more agile in building on our product lines than we have been in the past. In this presentation we will share our experiences in adopting agile practices, focusing primarily on three analog visual tools. We've been using kanban and user story mapping to communicate our plans and progress within the department and outside our department, and kaizen to map out our processes and try to improve them.

In the nineteen plus years Scott Hanslip
has been involved in the Information Technology industry, he has proven his ability to provide solutions to clients through his technical expertise and communication skills. The key to his success has been his ability to work equally well in a technical and business setting, and being able to bridge the gap between these two worlds in order to deliver well-built solutions that meet and exceed the needs of the business.
is a propellerhead whose main strengths are his thoroughness, focus on quality, and ability to examine things from many angles in search of flaws or inconsistencies to be dealt with. He is both blessed and cursed with a long-term memory of 3 days. He has a fancy for weird programming languages and sometimes secretly relishes the thrill of chasing down that elusive bug.
