How We Can All Be Agents For Change

Thursday, November 29th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

An Evening with the Yale Alumni Service Corps and The ONE Campaign, with Keynote Speaker Bobby Shriver

I am convinced that if, in the future, our country is to meet the unparalleled opportunity to win friends and advance the cause of peace and freedom, thousands of additional Americans will have to step forward and say, 'I will serve'.
– Sargent Shriver, Yale '38, '41 LLB, founder of Peace Corps

Last summer 155 intrepid Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC) members,
ONE staff, and their family and friends spent a week volunteering in Ghana. They taught school, coached sports, mentored female entrepreneurs, spoke with young women about going to college, broke ground on an IT center, and treated hundreds of medical patients.
On this trip, YASC launched a partnership with ONE.

Join us for an inspiring evening of                                                   conversation and storytelling as we share our experiences, photos and video from Ghana. We are especially thrilled to have ONE Co-Founder and Yale alum Bobby Shriver join us to talk about his life in public service and his experiences launching ONE.

Teens who are interested in service and advocacy are encouraged to attend.  Two of the YASC teens will be presenting!
