Greetings Creative Industry Partner:
The African Diaspora Creative Industries (ADCI) Initiative is pleased to announce the presentation of the Sankofa Salons on May 25th in Leimert Park and the B to B Access Forums & Social Networking experience June 26th to June 28th 2013 at Los Angeles Center Studios. Envisioned as "A U.S. Partnership Portal to the Creative Economy“, the African Diaspora Creative Industries initiative is designed to promote creative industry business exchange and shared cultural experiences throughout the African Diaspora.
ADCI will partner with African Market Place, Inc., Kaos Network and Arts Culture & Entertainment (ACE) to present The Sankofa Salons on May 25th in tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Organization of the African Union and continue the anniversary celebration on May 26th in partnership with the Leimert Park Art Walk.
Leveraged by the wealth of opportunities and creative energy sourced from the City and County of LA, the B to B Access Forums will present inspiring leaders sharing insights on keynote topics including:
Media Technology Defining Retail Markets
Infrastructure for the Arts Distribution Networks
Arts Education Venture Financing
Social Enterprise Cultural Tourism
Forums will be backdropped with industry specific video presentations facilitated by the Qubeey channel network. Presentations will also be webcast on the Africa Channel, Immigrant Magazine online and ADCI’s website. Vendors will be staged throughout LA Center Studios buildings between networking areas to create an interactive environment.
ADCI will additionally host the Digital Media Arts Education Benefit on Wednesday June 26th in support of professional development and studio development in the Diaspora. On Thursday June 28th, ADCI will host a social networking experience Big Screens & Beat Streams in the Diaspora. Then, on Friday June 28th, ADCI will host the renowned Urban Issues Breakfast Forum for an in depth conversation on how political initiatives and public policies can promote investment and business development in the Diaspora.
We welcome partnerships with organizations working to integrate participants into the Los Angeles County creative economy. ADCI’s objective is to promote working, educational and professional development partnerships through the use of multi-media platforms that facilitate networks for businesses seeking to produce, market and distribute products and services to and from the US.

African Diaspora Creative Industries is an initiative of the Center for Social Enterprise, a division of the non-profit 501c3 Community Economic Development Corporation (CEDC). African Diaspora Creative Industries is envisioned as "A U.S. Partnership Portal to the Creative Economy“ designed to promote creative industry business exchange and shared cultural experiences throughout the African Diaspora.
