AFP North Central Florida Chapter National Philanthropy Day Celebration
Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (EST)
The Association of Fundraising Professionals has designated November 15, 2011, as National Philanthropy Day, a special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy—and those people active in the philanthropic community—have made to our lives, our communities and our world.
The North Central Florida Chapter will host a celebration on Wednesday, November 16, at the University of Florida Hilton in Gainesville to honor individuals who have made a significant impact on philanthropy from Ocala, Gainesville and the surrounding communities.
Lunch will feature a keynote presentation by nationally known author and speaker, Snowden McFall.
Ms. McFall will also offer two morning workshops aimed at Executive Directors, Board Members, Development and Program Staff, Volunteers, and Donors. Morning workshop topics include, "Staying Fired Up in the Burnt-Out World of Philanthropy" and "Fan the Flames: Bringing the Best of Ourselves to Our Fundraising and Volunteerism Efforts."
Please join us in Celebration of National Philanthropy Day!
