Do you think the federal government should be in the business of picking winners and losers? AFP does not!
Please join us at the U.S. EPA’s public listening session on carbon pollution standards on Nov. 8 in Chicago to send the message that the Obama Administration should not use environmental regulations to put the coal industry out of business.
The purpose of these sessions is to solicit input from the public about the bestapproaches to reducing carbon pollution from existing power plants. Depending on the final regulations, this move is widely viewed as a way to essentially shutter coal-fired plants and coal production – driving up prices for consumers and small businesses, hurting local economies and eliminating jobs in Illinois.
Join us on Nov. 8 to voice your concerns!
