Join us! Americans For Prosperity Georgia hosts a coalition of the grassroots including Georgians For Health Care Freedom and other free market grassroots activists in a stand against ObamaCare and support for House Bill 707 - the Affordable Care Act Non-Compliance Act - which states that Georgia will not use any state resources to implement the disastrous federal law, we will NOT set up a state run health insurance exchange and we will not allow the federal government to use our own quasi-government state entities to establish navigator enrollment programs in Georgia and defiance of our own state's sovereign wishes.
The rally will feature legislators, constitutional officers and grassroots leaders from around the State and will be held on the steps of the Capitol.
Media inquiries should be directed to Joel Aaron Foster, AFP GA Grassroots Coordinator and Communications Director at 770-315-4304.
When & Where
Americans for Prosperity - Georgia
Americans for Prosperity - Georgia (AFP-GA) is committed to educating citizens about economic policy and mobilizing those citizens as advocates in the public policy process. AFP is an organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state, and federal levels. AFP grassroots activists advocate for public policies that champion the principles of entrepreneurship and fiscal and regulatory restraint. To that end, AFP supports:
- Cutting taxes and government spending in order to halt the encroachment of government in the economic lives of citizens by fighting proposed tax increases and pointing out evidence of waste, fraud, and abuse.
- Removing unnecessary barriers to entrepreneurship and opportunity by sparking citizen involvement early in the regulatory process in order to reduce red tape.
- Restoring fairness to our judicial system.
