Event Details

The Affordable Care Act has increased access to affordable, quality health care for millions of Americans, but the open enrollment deadline of March 31st is fast approaching. Now is the time to GET COVERED!

On Wednesday, March 12, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago is hosting a special enrollment event. Our team of certified Navigators will help you enroll in a health care plan that’s right for you and your loved ones.

If you make an appointment with a navigator, please bring a valid state ID or proof of residency, and Social Security number (or document numbers for legal immigrants). Also, please bring any of the following documents, if available:

  1. Employer and income information (pay stubs or W-2 forms)

  2. Policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members of your household.

  3. Household information (who lives with you)

If you are unable to attend this special event but would like education or enrollment assistance, call 312-784-9068 to schedule an appointment for another date and time.

AFC’s navigator program increases access to quality health care for people living with or affected by HIV, as well as other individuals who are disenfranchised because of an illness or socio-economic status. Navigators provide free education and health care enrollment services for individuals and organizations who want to learn more about new health care options under the Affordable Care Act, commonly called Obamacare
