Mark Kopp, the Associate Superintendent for Instruction at Hardin County Schools (HCS), will be the featured speaker at the Chapter’s next luncheon.
The luncheon, free to members and guests, will be held on April 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Saber and Quill (note the change in location from previous meetings).
Mr. Kopp will give a presentation on the HCS Early College & Career Center. Located next to Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC), the center will allow high school students to take courses in such pathways as health science, engineering, manufacturing and automotive technology. The center also will allow HCS students to take classes at ECTC.
HCS is one of the largest school districts in Kentucky, featuring 21 schools and teaching more than 14,700 kids.
Thanks to SAIC and HP for sponsoring the luncheon. For more information, or to register, please visit the Chapter Web site.
