The talk will feature two noted venture and angel investors:

kypKyp Sirinakis: Kyp is a Managing Partner at Rock Spring Ventures and has more than 20 years’ experience as an early-stage investor and senior executive in various health science and technology companies. She is also the founder and managing director of WomenAngels.net.

adrianAdrian Horotan: Adrian is a Principal of Elm Street Ventures and serves as a board observer on the board of AxioMx, Inc. He was formerly a senior associate at Connecticut Innovations and holds a Masters of Environmental Management from Yale.

About the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute

The Yale Entrepreneurial Institute is a University department that supports the efforts of Yale students to launch successful, scalable ventures. YEI is staffed by experts with deep scientific and business expertise and provides access to a Mentor Network of more than 100 experts. YEI offers year-round services to student entrepreneurs to develop and launch their businesses, including the Venture Creation Program for nurturing early-stage startups, the Technology Commercialization Program for forming faculty-student startups around cutting-edge research and the competitive 10-week Summer Fellowship where teams are given the funding, tools and connections to launch viable businesses by the summer’s end. There are currently 75 active YEI companies that have raised over $70 million in funding and created over 300 jobs. More information is available at yei.yale.edu.
