Advancing Women: Leadership in Content and Advertising

In this premier leadership event, inspiring and accomplished women executives share their stories of leadership and success. Our elite panelists include Cynthia Glasbrenner – Managing Partner, Client Business Leader at Mediacom and Elizabeth Kiehner, Principal at Thornberg and Forester. The panel will reveal their thoughts on leadership, strategies for breaking through to the next level, and ideas for leveraging both inner and outer strengths along the journey to achievement.

The audience will have the opportunity to learn from the panelists’ collective experiences including how they met their goals, solved seemingly impossible challenges while continuing to push through and exceed expectations. There will be the opportunity to meet and speak with the panelists personally as well as network with like-minded women leaders across various industries and scopes.

Wimlink and The Hatchery are proud to host this premier event as a leadership forum for already successful women to connect, exchange ideas, and plan for their businesses and careers for 2012 and beyond.

Her work on Kraft earned her an Effie Award as part of the Ritz “Open for Fun” Campaign in 2009.

Prior to Digitas, Cynthia joined the client side at Coca-Cola North America in 2001. At Coke, she has many responsibilities including Regional Media Directors for both Northeast and West Regions and then North America Strategic Media Director overseeing all planning activities for the My Coke Rewards Loyalty Program and all Minute Maid and Juice Brands. Elizabeth Kiehner
Principal, Thornberg & Forester

A leader in both management and business growth, Elizabeth Kiehner believes in setting people up to succeed. She brings fifteen years of experience to Thornberg & Forester. As a founding partner, she challenges herself and her clients to break perceived boundaries and fearlessly innovate through design and storytelling. With a focus on listening and understanding deeply rooted business goals and challenges, Kiehner enjoys peeling the layers of the onion in order to distill truly impactful communication platforms, yielding inimitable results.

Migrating from the agency side to the boutique digital studio environment, Kiehner’s adaptability and profound understanding of the perpetually changing media landscape makes her a one-of-a-kind, and distinctly hands-on, partner. At EURO RSCG Chicago, Kiehner produced award-winning campaigns for P&G, Alberto Culver, Bayer, and Hoover. Upon moving to LA, Kiehner ran a massive fashion retail account along with duties for Strong Investments and Dole.

Kiehner dove head first into the entertainment industry with Trollback + Co in New York, helming rebrands and campaigns for HBO, Showtime, AMC, TCM, CBS and AOL, as well as project-based work for Nike, Sony and Fidelity. After doubling the revenue of Freestyle Collective, Kiehner, along with partners Scott Matz and Justin Meredith, created the vision for Thornberg & Forester. Together, they crafted an environment where strategic, creative solutions could be conceived and produced in a media agnostic context.

An active member of the TED community, Kiehner has spoken at several global conferences including Cannes, Promax BDA and Apple, just to name a few. A mother of two, Kiehner is a contributing writer for Women 2.0 and strongly advocates the advancement of women, especially in the field of business.
