Adobe Lightroom 4
Adobe describes Photoshop Lightroom 4 software as "a comprehensive set of digital photography tools, from powerfully simple one-click adjustments to cutting-edge advanced controls. Create images that inspire, inform, and delight." It provides a means for any level of photographer to build their workflow from storage to development to final output of their images or video media.
This program, presented by Don Uvick, will provide a brief overview of the tool. A major focus will be highlighting the many other features which allow its users to think "outside the room."
Lightroom can go beyond the standard workflow by...
- Integrating your images with various publishing services/social media tools such as SMUGMUG, Facebook, Adobe Revel and others
- Creating keepsake books with Blurb to share with family or to develop a portfolio to show with clients
- Creating a map/location based digital timeline of your images
- Organizing and adjusting video clips or extracting still images for use in publications
- and more...
About the Presenter: Don Uvick has been active in the arts for over 25 years. He is a full time Operations Research Analyst for the Navy. As a part time photographer he strives to provide a variation in subject matter, which is pleasing to both the casual observer and those with a trained artistic eye. His work has been exhibited in many one person and joint shows throughout Pennsylvania including the State Museum’s “Art of the State”, the Susquehanna Art Museum, Harrisburg Area Community College in Gettysburg and the Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery at LVC.
