Admitted Students' Welcome Night

DETAILS: The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law's Office of Student Affairs is hosting Welcome Night to give our incoming students the opportunity to meet many fellow students, faculty, and administrators, and to get a better sense of what the upcoming semester will be like. Attendees will also have the opportunity to talk with our Peer Advisors and tour the law school. This is a student-only event (no guests); we will hold a “Friends & Family” event after school starts in September to which you will be encouraged to invite guests. ATTIRE: Business casual.
5:30pm Check in begins (Please don’t arrive much earlier than this as the information tables will not be ready until then.)
5:30 - 6pm Tours of the Law School & Information Tables (please note: Information tables will NOT be there after the program but current students can give you a tour during the reception)
6:00 – 6:20pm Welcome with Dean Krinsky and other members of the Law School community
6:20 – 6:45pm The Academic Experience
6:45 – 7:15pm Question and Answer Peer Advisor Panel
7:15 – 8:00pm Reception in atrium
PARKING: Both street parking and garage parking are available to visitors. Be mindful of any time restrictions posted on street parking meters. The closest garage to our school is the Baltimore Grand Garage located at Baltimore Grand Garage located at 5 N. Paca Street at the corner of Baltimore and Paca Streets directly across from the School of Law. Please note that parking fees are the responsibility of the visitor.
