Ever wonder what it's like to be part an out-of-this-world volunteer team? The Adler Planetarium invites you to attend its Volunteer Open House on Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30pm-7:00pm to preview summer opportunities, chat with current volunteers, and gain answers to your questions. From telescope facilitation to audience research, volunteers make a huge impact both on the floor and behind the scenes.
The evening's activities will include:

Parking and Transportation Information:
Parking is available at the pay-and-display kiosks on Solidarity Drive, in the parking lot adjacent to the Adler Planetarium or in the parking garage at Soldier Field. All parking on the Museum Campus is owned by the Chicago Park District and managed by Standard Parking.
Adler Planetarium is easily accessible by public transportation. For more information on the routes mentioned below as well as other routes, call the CTA Travel Information Center at (312) 836 7000, or visit the Chicago Transit Authority or Metra Rail web sites.
From Downtown and Michigan Avenue
CTA bus #146 stops along Michigan Avenue north of the river and on State Street south of the river and will drop you off in front of our building.
Alternatively, take the CTA Orange, Red, or Green line.
Exit the train at the Roosevelt stop.
From there, you can take CTA bus #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express, which will drop you off in front of our building.
