Event Details

PURPOSE:  The goal of the summit will be to foster a discussion between various elements that are confronting the rising trend of violence, and explore alternative solutions amongst leaders in the community.

 

OBJECTIVES:  At the end of this workshop, the participant should be able to: 

  • Discuss the different forms of violence
  • Address the problem of violence in diverse communities
  • Discuss the public health impact and approaches to violence prevention
  • Explore ethics and public policy in addressing violence
