Adam Marsland & Steve Caraway in Concert

San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Allmusic.com once said of singer/songwriter/musician/producer Adam Marsland, "there's little he can't do, and do well." That sums up a restless two decade musical adventure for the indie pop Renaissance man, who has in turn been a raving punk maniac with Cockeyed Ghost and later the Standells, a relentless DIY solo troubadour, a multi-instrumentalist sideman who has worked side by side with '60s legends the studio Wrecking Crew, as well as 2008 Tony Award winner Stew and 2013 Grammy Award winner Alan Boyd; an expert vocal arranger who has earned praise from (and worked with some of) the Beach Boys; a producer/engineer who has recorded with members of Earth Wind and Fire, Three Dog Night, and X – and, at last, "one of the most gifted singer/songwriters to come out of the west coast" (Time Out-NYC).
Steve Caraway as singer/songwriter is multi-genre, with this, his debut album, Caraway only proves the point As he delights you with Pop Songs like “When I Can Change” and “Push” and then Steve’s powerful vocals bring “Evangeline” lyrics to life. “Hurricane Season” has been well worth the wait! With catchy hooks and outstanding soulful lyrics, the songwriting here is as solid as Indie Pop gets, and that rocks! Steve offers up Power Pop, Soul, Rock and moving right into today’s Indie Pop and Modern Rock! Folks, there is something here for everyone!
