In this course, some acupuncture point combinations to treat various symptoms in different regions of the body will be covered.  Students will have a chance to locate and learn the proper acupuncture technique for the unfamiliar or extra points. Point categories will also be briefly reviewed in order to provide a context for choosing points.  By the end of this 8 hour course, students will be able to come up with effective point combinations to obtain a synergetic effect for treatment of various symptoms, locate the extra points, and learn the proper needling techniques for the those points.  Some relevant case studies may also be presented.
