Activate Good and MusicianCorps invite you to join us for Raleigh's 4th Annual Sunday Supper

What happens at the Sunday Supper?
Sunday Suppers will be taking place all across the nation on Sunday, January 19! During Sunday Suppers, people from diverse backgrounds come together to share a meal, discuss issues that affect the community, and learn about ways to make a difference.
At the 2014 Sunday Supper, you'll join fellow community members, hosts Activate Good and MusicianCorps, and nonprofit partners like Band Together, Wade Edwards Learning Lab, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Urban Ministries of Wake County, Triangle Area Red Cross, Dress for Success, Wags 4 Tags, and others to discuss local community issues.
Food provided by Inter-Faith Food Shuttle's Catering with a Cause program.
Sweet Tea or Tea
Italian Pasta with cheese and tomato sauce or Meat Tomato Sauce
Romaine Salad with Croutons
*Because we are using a caterer this year instead of working with a restaurant, advance payment is required so we will have enough food for everyone.
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged!
Parking near the Long View Center is available in the Blount Street parking deck across the street from Marbles. Additionally, parking is available along the street. For other parking locations, check this downtown Raleigh map.
About MLK Day / Weekend of Service
Activate Good believes that when individuals reach across differences, meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with neighbors can occur. A sense of community is gained by neighbors working together on projects, resulting in stronger civic engagement and bringing us all closer to Dr. King’s legacy.
At this year's Sunday Supper we will provide opportunities to volunteer during the MLK Day of Service so that particpants can jump right in and start working to make a difference! Of course you can always visit activategood.org to find volunteer opportunities that fit your schedule and interests.
Thank You to our 2014 MLK Sunday Supper Sponsors!
MusicianCorps, part of the Center for Music National Service, promotes music as a social impact strategy--and musicians as public servants--through direct programs, advocacy, and leadership development. MusicianCorps trains and places musicians as teachers, mentors and care workers in public schools, children's and veterans hospitals and other settings where music can reach, teach and heal.
