ABC Networking Event (Georgia Branch)
Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
The Georgia Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) gathers bi-monthly for a Networking Meeting. The ABC Georgia Branch and State Coordinator, Gail Johnson cordially invites you attend our August meeting at 103 WEST. 103 West is Atlanta’s premier private dining destination, providing contemporary, sleek and stylish ambience, to make any event unforgettable. Offering impeccable service, exceptional value and world-class cuisine, 103 WEST is ideal for business meetings and events, bar/bat mitzvahs, engagement parties and showers, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions.
We are going to have ALL things about beauty and makeup. A makeup artist will teach and demonstrate how we can repair minor makeup mishaps from crying to smudges of lipsticks, a hair artist to show us tips and tricks with removing the veil, as well as securing the hair afterwards.
MAKEUP ARTIST BIO:
Claudia Mejerle discovered her love for makeup as a little girl while playing in her mother’s makeup drawer preparing for ballet recitals. Makeup made her feel more beautiful. She realized when you enhance your God-given, physical beauty, it is more than just an outer transformation. Looking and feeling beautiful makes you feel powerful. You exude confidence and joy.
After years of putting her advertising degree to good use, Claudia decided to fully embrace her love for makeup artistry and hair styling and make her hobby her career. She initially focused her talent working with brides and now Claudia can be found on set for commercials, backstage at events and in studio for photo shoots. Regardless of who she works with, she values building a relationship founded on communication, collaboration and trust.
Claudia is known for her natural, soft style, but she loves every chance she has to play with color and texture. While beauty trends both past and present inspire her work, it is often the other creatives that she gets to collaborate with that give her creative energy. She loves to look for the beauty in everything and everyone around her, and she feels blessed that part of her job is to enhance and enjoy the beauty of the people she works with.
Claudia’s work has been published on Snippet & Ink, Magnolia Rouge, Green Wedding Shoes, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, Utterly Engaged and Rue Magazine, as well in the pages of Occasions Magazine, Weddings Unveiled, Southern Weddings Magazine, Atlanta Weddings Magazine and Modern Luxury. She is also a beauty correspondent for Cotton Candy Magazine.
