Enjoy a peaceful, family-friendly walk through an enclave of pristine wilderness just minutes from freeways! Join Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteer naturalist on this 2.0-mile walk over moderate but uneven terrain (100-ft. elevation gain) through coastal Sage Scrub to Barbara’s Lake, the only natural fresh-water Lake in Orange County. Bring water, sunscreen and walking shoes. Ages 8 and up. Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, James Dilley Preserve (east side of Laguna Canyon Rd/SR-133, just north of 73 Toll Road).

This 20,000-acre area of includes Laguna Coast and Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Parks, Crystal Cove State Park, and the City of Irvine Open Space Preserve. We work to Keep It Wild!
