A Taste of Circling: An Integral Approach to Deeper Relating
Cindy Dinh and Authentic World
In this evening, Bay Area Integral and Authentic World team up to share with you the unique and powerful art form they have come to call “Circling.”
Simply put, it’s the best work we’ve found for creating extraordinary and profound intimacy in relationships — an organic, in-the-moment interpersonal process that’s equal parts art form, meditation, and encounter group.
The purpose of Circling is twofold:
1. Circling uncovers our “relational blind spots” — the places where we push away the depth of connection and intimacy that’s possible.
2. The experience of “Being Seen” for who we authentically are is one of the most rewarding experiences we can have as human beings, and Circling teaches us exactly that: how to see and celebrate each person for the unique flavor they bring to the world.
As an integral practice, Circling evolves consciousness through relationship with others. Our mission is to build integral community around the world.
This practice fosters agency through transcending the "I" that one may have believed the self to be, to discover an expanded sense of self, while fully experiencing and including every previous layer that this new being is grounded in and arising from.
Circling will also foster the capacity for communion and connection through sharpening the ability to deeply see and connect with others.
Though it works exquisitely in intimate relationships, it can be applied in all areas of life because it’s so organic, non-analytical, effective, and fun…
The mission of Bay Area Integral is to pioneer the playground where integral culture evolves. We do this by fostering a vibrant, thriving community of integralists and evolutionaries in the Bay Area. Our goal is to be the hub of integral community and events in the Bay Area.
