Tennis Memphis Inc

For over a decade, Tennis Memphis has impacted the lives of thousands of Memphis’ youth

through its NJTL Tennis Summer Camps, and with year-round youth development

programming at municipal tennis centers and schools in the Memphis area. NJTL

was envisioned and founded by tennis icon Arthur Ashe as a way to make tennis

available to underserved youth. In addition to learning tennis, children are coached in

academic excellence, life skills and leadership, and many of them ultimately attend college

on tennis scholarships. Most importantly, they learn what it means to be good citizens.

Colonial Country Club is one of the mid-south’s premier country clubs that is over 100 years old with two 18-hole championship golf courses, a multi-purpose clubhouse, Olympic-size swimming pool, fitness facility, 6 tennis courts, Colonial Woods walking trails and fishing lake.   It boasts an incredible history to date—2013 marked the Centennial Year as a country club as well as the host of the Sectional Qualifier for the US Open.   It also maintains over 6500 square feet of continuous event space for special events.
