The 2013 CM-PRSA PACE Awards "Best in Show" was awarded to Pace for its outstanding efforts on a community relations campaign for the United Way merger of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo regions. Mike Nowlin of Pace will share the tactics that led to this successful campaign.
Martin Waymire Advocacy Communications was recognized by PRSA with the Silver Anvil for Public Affairs Excellence for its work on the campaign to defeat Proposal 5, the proposed "Super Minority" constitutional amendment on Michigan's November, 2012 statewide ballot. Roger Martin of Martin Waymire will provide details on how Defend Michigan's Democracy completely reversed the polls securing the largest margin of any of the questions or candidates on the statewide ballot.
