La Bella Events proudly presents - 2013 A Safe Place 12th Annual Walk & Shop Event.
Join us and celebrate 35 years of dedication in promoting awareness and prevention of Domestic & Teen Dating Violence.
This year, merchandise vendors will be a new addition to our event. This will surely be a fun filled day for you and the entire family. Local artists such as the Edna Brewer Middle School Band, Praise Dancers, and "SUN IN ME" will also share their talents in this memorable celebration. For our supporters and walkers, there will be many hydration stations throughout the route to quench your thirst.
Supporting the Walk is a great way for anyone to give back to the Oakland community and show solidarity in helping eradicate violence within our community. A Safe Place, Inc. Oakland’s Domestic Violence Assistance and Shelter Program exist to Break the Cycle of Domestic & Teen Dating Violence by providing battered victims and their children with safe shelter and resources. Without your support, we could not continue to provide domestic violence prevention services to our clients.
