A Roundtable Breakfast Meeting with the Bahrain Economic Development Board

The Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) is visiting Seattle to learn about the region’s manufacturing and logistics capabilities. Bahrain’s strategic Gulf location and unique Free Trading Agreement allow for rapid access to adjacent markets, putting Bahrain in a advantageous position for manufacturing and export. The Bahrain EDB is a dynamic public agency with overall responsibility for attracting investment into Bahrain and supporting initiatives enhance the investment climate in the country.
The delegation hopes to build personal relationships with business, government and economic development representatives, and to lay the groundwork for a visit by their trade representatives from Bahrain. The Bahrain EDB is interested in making strategic partnerships with U.S. companies that are looking to the MENA region as a key export market and investment destination.
The mission of the Trade Alliance is to promote the Greater Seattle region in international markets, connect the region—its businesses and organizations--to those markets, bring the region together to be more successful internationally and to educate our region on the importance of international business broadly defined. To this end, the Trade Alliance enhances the identity of Greater Seattle in world markets by convening regional stakeholders, executing outbound missions, hosting inbound delegations, producing marketing publications, organizing educational programming, and other activities.
