You are cordially invited to join award-winning writer Cheryl Sternman Rule for a festive affair at the Rustic Garden Bistro, hosted by Kim Burnell.
Kim will help Cheryl kick-off the Southern California leg of Cheryl's book tour with a variety of recipes from RIPE: A Fresh, Colorful Approach to Fruits and Vegetables, a book Cheryl co-created with photographer Paulette Phlipot. You may choose among two options:
- Option 1 ($55/person). A full, five-course, intimate vegetarian dinner in the garden, including one copy of Ripe (a $25 value), which Cheryl will personally inscribe. (This ticket option will also include access to the dessert party below. Please don't bring a dish/drink... we'll cover you.) The cocktail hour will begin at 5p and dinner will begin promptly at 6:00p. Please note: Option 1 is limited to 22 guests.
- Option 2 (free!). A post-meal cocktail party and fruit dessert potluck. (Cookbook not included.) Please bring your favorite beverage and/or your favorite fruit dessert to share, in keeping with the theme of what's ripe. This option includes a reading/talk/signing by the author. The dessert portion of the evening begins at 8p. Note: Option 2 is limited to 48 guests.
PLEASE NOTE: Additional books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
The fine print:
All event tickets must be purchased by July 12 and will be first come, first served. Once space fills up, the event will close, and we may begin a wait list. All registered attendees will receive directions to the Rustic Garden Bistro (located in the North Tustin/Orange County area) 72 hours prior to the event. No refunds. Questions?
