A Mile High Salute to Veterans
In conjunction with Earls Kitchen & Bar "Cherry Creek North" and 9 News, The Greatest Generations Foundation is hosting A Mile High Salute to our Veterans on Friday, November 9th to honor and celebrate Colorado veterans while also raising funds for The Greatest Generations Foundation upcoming Prisoner-of-War program to Berlin Germany, which will serve ten Colorado WWII veterans.
This high-energy evening of music by Opie Gone Bad accompanied by irresistible appetizers and handcrafted cocktails from Earls Kitchen & Bar "Cherry Creek North" is the perfect way to kick-off Veterans Day Weekend. Doors open at 6PM and each ticket includes a range of Earls signature appetizers offered through 8PM. Starting at 8PM, Opie Gone Bad will rock the house with their signature funk blend of rock, reggae and some old time classics. The party will continue with a premier Denver DJ who will keep the Earls party going from 10PM until doors close at 2AM.
About TGGF Prisoner-of-War Return Program
In a highly historic return to the former battlefields and camps of World War II located in Germany and Poland, ten Colorado ex-POWs of the US Army Air Corps’ Eighth Air Force will make their first and final return in 68 years to their former Prisoner-of-War camps in which they were once held.

The Greatest Generations Foundation is an IRS 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of veterans and ensuring that their legacies are recorded and retold in perpetuity to future generations. In order to preserve the legacies established by these heroes, TGGF provides opportunities for veterans to return to their former fields of battle in the company of their brothers in arms and younger generations to educate them about the sacrifices made long ago to defend the freedoms they enjoy today.
