Event Details

“Quirky Productions,” a burgeoning New York City theater company, is proud to announce our upcoming production of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

July 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, and 27th, from 7-9pm at First Street Green Park, the characters will journey through modern-day Brooklyn, where cultures collide.

The lovers, Hermia, Helena, Lysander and Demetrius, are torn apart due to an arranged marriage in their home of Park Slope, and flee the scene for a romantic adventure through Brooklyn.   They find themselves at a Williamsburg warehouse rave, run by Oberon, Titania, and Puck of the faeries. Meanwhile, hipster mechanicals prepare a play, directed by Peter Quince and taken over by the overwhelming, overcompensating Bottom, while taking a break from selling chotskies from their Etsy accounts. Magical chaos ensues!

The show stars: Yadin Goldman (Ha-Hamama), Eleah Burman, Ilona Concetta, Steve Godoy, Drew Scott, Kate-Olivia O'Brien, James Kamensky, Patrick Shane, Case Watson, Melissa Mickens, Arielle Thomas,  Abigail Taylor-Sansom, Pop Peterson, and Otter Lee.

Tickets are free and can be reserved at

Quirky Productions

Quirky Productions Logo "Quirky Productions" is a theater company based in New York City, founded to give displaced twenty-somethings a space and opportunity to perform and flourish.  There are so many productions that occur in New York City, but "Quirky Productions" wants to give the young people that love theater the opportunity to learn and strive together in an open, creative environment.  Regional productions are where most twenty year olds are forced to perform, and we strive for that same environment in the boisterous, bustling, bombastic New York City area.Picture
