A Greener Taste of Greater Durham: A Community Forum on
Sustainability and Entrepreneurship
Join us for a night of celebrations, learning, and good food as we bring together some of the most active student and faculty groups at the University of New Hampshire, entrepreneurs operating in the green industry in New Hampshire, and local restaurants engaged and interested in community development.
The Granite State Room (GSR) is one of the Universities largest, most-requested function halls. The GSR is located in the Memorial Union Building - the central hub of campus activity.

To interact with the various organizations, businesses, and individuals working to make UNH and the surrounding areas a community that is connected and committed to social and environmental responsibility.
The event will include speakers from local businesses and university organizations.
Look forward to food provided by local restaurants.

Green Launching Pad
Founded in 2010, the Green Launching Pad (GLP) is a strategic partnership of the University of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning, with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (ARRA).The organization connects entrepreneurs and private industry with technical, scientific and business faculty, students and state-level resources to successfully launch and accelerate the growth of new green businesses. Fourteen companies have been successfully launched/funded since its beginning two years ago.
