This ethnic event will be full of authentic Ghanaian food such as jollof rice, and will feature Ghanaian singers and drummers. The price of the event is $20 for adults and $15 for students and will be hosted at the Rosehill Community Center on Friday, February 15th from 6:00 – 8:45 pm. But buy the tickets quick, the price goes up by $5 at the door! Learn more about Ghanaian culture while enjoying traditional performances and eating a cultural Ghanaian dinner. Hugs for Ghana is an entirely student-led, recognized non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to giving gifts of all types to underprivileged children in hospitals, schools, and orphanages in Ghana, West Africa. The mission of the organization is to reveal the gift of love, hope, confidence, and warmth to the hearts and lives of Ghana’s youngest citizens.
