Center for Engagement, Service, and the Public Good at Cal State LA

The mission of the Center for Engagement, Service, and the Public Good is to work on behalf of the residents of Los Angeles and students of Cal State L.A. to generate positive change across Southern California.

Our vision is to help make Cal State L.A. a hub of civic engagement and public service for our communities, our city, and the region beyond. The Center for Engagement, Service, and the Public Good realizes these goals by connecting students with our communities through civic learning, applied research, and student-success initiatives. The Center is dedicated to service learning and neighborhood transformation and serves as a catalytic force in the lives of students and the people who live in the communities we serve.
