Join fellow enthusiasts and supporters of the Lafitte Greenway on Thursday, April 17th, for an evening of music, drinks, and speakers to benefit Friends of Lafitte Corridor.
After years of advocacy and community support, we are thrilled to see construction starting on the Lafitte Greenway project. A FOLC Affair will both celebrate this momentous groundbreaking and raise funds to ensure that the Greenway has all of the security and amenities needed to make it a true gem of the New Orleans landscape.
WHEN: Thursday, April 17th, 7pm-9pm (Patron Party 6pm-7pm)
WHERE: Basin Street Station - 501 Basin Street
WHAT: Live Musical Entertainment, Guest Speakers, Silent Auction, Light Bites, & Open Bar!
Speakers: Councilwoman Susan Guidry, Edgar "Dooky" Chase III, and landscape architect Dana Brown, who will highlight the evening with a presentation about the Greenway's plans and landscaping.
Music by The Organettes.
Silent auction items from over 30 local businesses, ranging from "staycations" to shopping sprees to health memberships to local restaurants!
