"A Feast for the African Art Collector" is going to be an extraordinary vetted show presented by Berz Gallery of African Art, one of the leading African art galleries worldwide. This very special event will be held in the Fleet Room at Fort Mason, San Francisco from February 8-10, 2013. It provides a rare opportunity for discerning art collectors to view and purchase some of the finest antique and ancient African material being exhibited in the United States. The Feast Show will feature of feast of quantity and quality African material in over 4000 square feet of exhibition space. Rarely can one gallery present the quantity, diversity and quality of antique and ancient African material which will be featured in this exclusive show. Much of the material to be shown at the Show has never been exposed in any exhibition setting.
A VIP Event has been planned for Friday evening, February 8. Registration includes tickets to the VIP event. A $10 contribution to offset show expenses will be required at the door for anyone who doesn't register in advance, so please register in advance! You can RSVP by emailing as well at email@example.com if you don't choose to register on Eventbrite.
Antique material from Mali, Nigeria, DR Congo, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Togo, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Cameroon, Tanzania, Angola, and more will be represented. Importantly, the Feast Show is just a stone's throw away from the phenomenal San Francisco Tribal & Textile Arts Show at the Festival Pavilion inside Fort Mason. The Feast Show will run concurrently to Caskey-Lees' renowned SF Tribal & Textile Arts show and a private online gallery preview of Show material will be uploaded to Berz Gallery clients in early February.
