Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (PDT)
New York, NY
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Madiba is proud to host the first of its on-going Fall Wine Dinners in association with boutique and canonical vineyards in South Africa. Our inaugural event will be in partnership with Noble Hill - an estate located in the Simonsberg-Paarl region of the Western Cape, 30 miles outside of Cape Town - and will feature a special live performance by Guy Buttery, South Africa's quintessential acoustic export.
Revel in the best that South Africa has to offer - Music, Wine and Food. A 3 course dinner will be aptly complimented by paired wine by owner of the Noble Hill Estate, Mr. Kristopher Tillery. He will take you on a journey of each wine, carefully selected for each dish, and guide you along some history of the estate and the vine. Mr. Tillery's passion for his estate's creations is unmatched and his often bashful dedication to the winemaking process will leave you with a lingering appreciation for this fine craft.
Guy Buttery will delight with live music during the evening's frivolities. About Guy Buttery:
“Guy Buttery is something of a National treasure” says South Africa‟s leading newspaper The Mercury. With sell-out performances in the US, the UK, Australia, France, Italy and all over Southern Africa, Guy is Africa‟s biggest acoustic music export. His debut album in 2002, "When I Grow Up..." was nominated for 'Best Instrumental Album of the Year' and 'Best Newcomer' at the South African Music Awards.
We recommend making your reservations early. The prix-fixe dinner and wine, including the music performance is an evening combined out of the best we have to offer.
The ticket price is for welcoming cocktail, hors d'oeuvres, 3 course dinner and wine and INCLUDES tax & gratuity.

Fashioned in the style of a "Shebeen," Madiba offers refuge and relief to neighbors and travelers, friends and strangers alike. Come and see for yourself.
