What: A Day at the Museum – Museum of Tolerance
Where: The Museum of Tolerance (MOT) is near the heart of Los Angeles, CA. The address is 9786 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.
When: Sunday, September 29, 2013. This All-Day event will be 10am – 3pm. **If you are taking Charter Bus, please be advised as to the Boarding & Return times.
Who: A Day at the Museum of Tolerance is open for Military Teens (registered dependents). Ages 13 – 18 years of age. Parent/Guardian is welcome to attend with Teen.
ü Focused workshops Youth Leadership & Cultural Awareness.
ü Guided Museum Experience where Teens explore themes such as the power of words, lessons from history, and bullying prevention.
ü Personal Testimony Session with a Holocaust Survivor or other special speaker.
ü Facilitated group dialogue.
ü Lunch is provided.
ü Personal reflection and journaling in a Museum of Tolerance Teen journal.
